Brooklyn Nets smash the Chicago Bulls with their star trio on the court

It’s still very unfortunate that the Brooklyn Nets can’t have all their star players on the court at home but the Chicago Bulls suffered them tonight at United Center. At the start of the game, there was a feeling that the Bulls would be able to get ahead int he score board early in the first half. Fantastic combination between Lonzo Ball and Zach LaVine were giving all the Bulls‘ fans hope for something amazing. But the Nets needed to get rid of their terrible record against the biggest teams in the NBA. Before this game started, they were 0-8 against the teams with the better records. This included the Chicago Bulls but all that changed tonight in spectacular fashion.

James Harden was ready to drop dimes by the dozen while Kevin Durant was just as deadly as ever from the paint and from a distance. At the start of the third quarter, the difference wasn’t too great between two as the score bard was 62-60 in Brooklyn‘s favor. However, the third quarter was a complete blowout for the Bulls as they lost it by 20 points. That’s exactly where they lost the game. With less than two minutes in the final quarter, the Nets had a 30-point advantage over Chicago with a 134-104 result. It was clear that having Kyrie Irving back with the other two monsters is definitely the way to go for Brooklyn.

What’s next for Nets and Bulls?

After tonight’s defeat, the Chicago Bulls still have a better record with 27-12 and they need to pick themselves back up by Friday to face the Golden State Warriors at United Center. Brooklyn Nets move up to a 26-14 record after tonight’s victory. They go back home to play against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday without Kyrie Irving. Out of all the Nets who came out to play tonight, this has to be the best performance James Harden has delivered since he came to Brooklyn from the Houston Rockets.
